Wyman's of Maine- Frozen Fruit #Review
I love to enjoy something fruity every now and then and I normally by fruit that is in season and fresh. But sometimes you want something like strawberries and they are not the greatest picking in our area this time of year. So I always make sure to have some frozen on hand.
My latest go to brand is Wyman's of Maine (sponsor). Founded in 1874 by Jasper Wyman, Wyman's is a family owned company. Today they have 10,000 acres of wild blueberries as well as fields of other Wyman growers in Maine, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, and Prince Edward Island. They also provide frozen Strawberries, Blackberries, Raspberries, and Mangos!
I have recently picked up some frozen strawberries. I really wanted to make something with strawberries in them as mentioned above and our small town store was out of them. So I was able to grab a bag of Wyman's when we did our big grocery shopping in the city. After I bought them, I could not figure out what on earth to make. Then my daughter asked me if we could make some muffins out of a cook book of her's. So I said sure!
These muffins turned out wonderful. I of course had a few strawberries not go into them. I had to try them! They were wonderful! They were full of flavor and just, well words can not describe them! You can view the muffin recipe HERE. I highly recommend giving it a try!
Over all I was pretty pleased with these fruits! I believe I just found my new go to fruit for when our store is out of fresh ones! I highly recommend giving them a try. They would be perfect in a smoothie or maybe even a shake once it warms up!
You can learn more about Wyman's by visiting their website. You can also find them on facebook!
